Ajatuksen Valo # 11 and Wounded Girl CS OUT NOW!

The eleventh installment of Ajatuksen Valo zine is here! This time there's interviews with Ydinaseeton Pohjola, Viimeinen Kolonna, Thisclose (UK), Civil Olydnad (SWE), Alert! Alert! (POL), Distortion Faith zine (SWE), Arrestum and Kohti Tuhoa. Lots of record reviews, live reports and other articles (topics ranging from Discharge bootlegs thu G.I.S.M. to Jamppa Tuominen).

The zine is published in A5 format and contains 76 pages. Black and white, written in finnish. It costs 4 euros hand to hand or five euros including the shipping inside Finland.

Ajatuksen Valo now has a website of it's own. There's old interviews published in the previous, now sold out issues of the zine. http://thetrveavzine.wordpress.com/ is an address you should bookmark.

The first issue of Nurja Kehä zine is out! This is a zine made together with Tuukka Rämekuukkeli (who edited Visto and UG zines in the past) and is focused on all things slow and mean. Yes, doom metal. You can consider this as a spiritual follower of AV7 or something like that. Anyway, we have interviews with Mother Susurrus, Lord Vicar, Goatess, Baxter Stockman, Fistula, Sunface, Woodrue ja Skogen Brinner. There's also a fair deal of record and live review, columns and other writings.

We finally had our copies of this Sivuraiteella EP by the Turku City Hardcore Kids VÄISTÄ! The band has it's roots deep within the Turku hardcore scene, but this is totally different kind of hardcore than the bands they have played with previously. This five-song record is their second output on vinyl. No metal, just punk and groovy riffage with an old school touch! Check for yourself!

The first issue of Ajatuksen Valo was published in April 2012. As of June 2014 it's time to have the tenth issue of the zine out! Now we return to hardcore, the most important genre for the editor. TII NAKUJALKA LP & TAILGUNNER CS OUT NOW! UPDATES!!!

Tii Nakujalka was formed a few years ago in Hämeenlinna, Finland. So far they have released a "Rukousnauha" tape thru Shitsuck Tapes and 7-inch split with Haistelijat thru Joteskii Groteskii. JG actually assisted on this one as well, with the little help of Persnetto Records, Likainen Avaruus and Piiri. Alright, we were all equally taking part in this.

Anyway, they play progressive punk but keep it dirty. Tii Nakujalka's music has been described as "a ride on broken moped into Hell". The LP contains seven pieces of terror, and you can have yours for ten euros! Check the samples here!

Tailgunner, on the other hand, is a young heavy metal quartet from Joensuu, Finland. They play traditional heavy metal with some doom metal leanings, and the band members are previously known from Misty Knight. This tape contains two songs of pure heavy metal bomb raid! One epic and slow tune, one faster blaster. Fans for heavy metal! Check slow! And check fast! Costs you four euros!
