JPAR-004: Ward & True Lords of Vatican

Tampere-based Ward plays atmospheric sludge/doom/crust. Ward has already released a great split-7" with the grindcore band Hävitys, and they will release their debut album later this year. True Lords of Vatican is a side project of one certain man involved with Sink. So everything crumbles slowly and ends in a noisy mess!

Co-release with Black Floyd's Tapes.

JPAR-003: SIRCUSCUS - TRAUMAMBO LP OUT NOW

A follow-up for their "Brutal Ethnology" -EP (released late 2010), the second record by Sircuscus has finally descended from the top of the totem. "Traumambo" is a bit more polished and more diverse than "Brutal Ethnology", and expands the musical visions of this three piece group. They even sing the entire LP in spanish. Eleven songs. File under: Artpunk. For the fans of NoMeansNo, Deep Turle, Mr. Bungle, Melvins and such. Or not. Listen to the samples here. By the way, this band has nothing to do with the band Sirkus CousCous and disco.  If you ask me, this is closer to punk than prog, but I think it's too much for the real punks to take.

Co-release with Traumambo Records.


Because it's still kreisikesä, there's a generous offer valid until the end of August. The record will cost you 15 euros including postage inside Finland. Normal price is 10 euros.

Total Recall - What I've Seen 10"


Tough skater dudes from Jyväskylä dwell deep within their troubled minds and deliver some quality hardcore in the process. They have evolved, and their version of hardcore is something complete else than fast and short bursts of anger. Finnish "My War". And yeah, this record was made by hippies.

Kancer Kountry # 3 -zine


The third issue of this marvellous zine includes the interviews by Bolt, Eye For All, Blossom Hill, Melusaaste, Laama-zine, No One is Safe and a comic guy Aapo Rapi. Some of these interviews are highly ice hockey -related. Also the photographs taken by yours truly are also making this zine to look cooler.
